Dear parish,
On May 10,2026, eleven children from our parish will receive Holy Communion for the first time.
Next Sunday, March 15,2026, the children would like to introduce themselves to the parish community during Holy Mass at 5:15 p.m. and ask us to accompany them with our prayers on their way to First Communion. The First Communion children and I cordially invite you to this service under the motto "We are puzzle pieces in God's world".
In the month of March, the Caritas house collection takes place in our diocese. Instead of the house collection, the church offering is collected in Lech on Saturday and Sunday for this purpose. In doing so, we are sending an important signal of solidarity and social cohesion. Because poverty is not always visible – but it is increasingly in our midst.
Your pastor

Acquerello Risotto is a premium Carnaroli rice from Italy, famous for its unique maturation process of at least one year and a special refining process that returns vitamins and nutrients to the germ, making it more nutritious than regular rice, but still perfect for creamy risottos with bite and flavor absorption. It is polished with a gentle propeller method, remains undamaged, does not stick and is ideal for versatile risotto creations by gourmet chefs.
What makes Acquerello so special:
Aging: After harvesting, the rice is stored in refrigerated silos for at least one year, which stabilizes the starch and improves the ability to absorb liquid.
Propeller polishing: A special method in which the grains gently rub against each other ensures intact, undamaged grains, unlike other fast polishing techniques.
Reintegration of the germ: The nutrient-rich germ that is removed during polishing is reintegrated into the grain through a patented process, which gives it the nutritional values of brown rice.
Preparation:
Cooking time: Short cooking process (approx. 10-12 min.).
Method: Often less liquid is added at a time, the broth is allowed to evaporate gradually, the rice is roasted and removed from the heat after cooking so that it can steep.
Anna potatoes are a potato casserole from French cuisine
Cornichons are small, crunchy gherkins named after the French word for "croissant", which alludes to their size and often slightly curved shape, and are marinated in a spicy broth (vinegar, salt, sugar, herbs such as dill, mustard seeds), ideal as a snack, with bread, cheese or as a garnish.
The potato cheese is a spreadable, thick spread made from boiled potatoes, onions, sour cream and cream, seasoned with salt and pepper.
Graved salmon (also Gravlax) is a Scandinavian specialty: raw salmon is not smoked, but preserved and matured by a pickling of a lot of salt, sugar and dill, where the name literally means "buried salmon", as it was actually buried in the past. This way of preparation makes the salmon tender, juicy and gives it a unique flavor that distinguishes it from smoked salmon.
Entrecôte the intermediate rib piece or prime rib of beef, a juicy, marbled steak from the front back area, comparable to the American rib-eye steak, which is popular with connoisseurs due to its excellent taste and the various muscle strands.
Mocha, mocha, strong coffee from the Arab world, which is traditionally boiled with very finely ground powder in a pot and served with coffee grounds, but in the West is often also understood as an espresso-chocolate-milk drink (Caffè Mocha), depending on the region and culture. It is known for its strong taste and high caffeine content, with the traditional preparation (Turkish/Greek mocha) being a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
