Through a high level of hygiene and care, we ensure healthy food and impeccable dishes. Our ingredients are bought fresh from local markets or come from our own organic farm.
The water we serve in glass bottles is not just filtered house water, but Kangen water. This water is made with a machine certified for medical purposes in Japan and the United States. The manufacturer is a Japanese company that has been on the market for about 50 years. The water is not only additionally filtered, but broken down by titanium plates, making it anti-oxidant, which is extremely healthy. You will consume less acid and on top of that you will deacidify your body. We serve you water with a PH value of 9.0.

We are not medical doctors, but well read healers and experienced parents.
If you have a cold or gastrointestinal upset or other difficulties, please feel free to contact us. We have natural home remedies that will help you in a healthy way. Teas can be mentioned as an example. Rosemary tea helps with gastrointestinal upset, thyme tea helps with colds, as does Moroccan mint. Verbena has a detoxifying effect and aids digestion. Wormwood tea is often drunk. This has a stimulating and tonic effect on the central nervous system, strengthening the stomach and bile ducts, antibacterial, anti-bloating, bile flow promoting, anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic.
Thus, there are always often forgotten remedies from nature. Our products are organically grown and most of them are grown on our own farm. So we know what we are offering you.

A riad and boutique hotel is a very private house where well-being and friendly communication are very important.
It is also part of a nice experience to behave as quietly as possible, especially during the quiet hours from 22.00 - 08.00, so that other guests are not disturbed. If you are on the phone or holding necessary video conferences, we would like to ask you to do so at room volume and to use headphones.

La Claire Fontaine is a particularly sustainable boutique hotel. We produce most of our products on our own farm and primarily buy organically grown goods and food from local traders. As a rule, and as far as possible, we only use glass bottles. Unfortunately, not all drinks are always available in these. Even though there is no deposit system for plastic bottles, there are recyclers who process these bottles. We support this and make sure that the bottles we use do not end up in the trash. Glass bottles are also recycled. In some cases, lamps are made from the parts, dark bottles are cleaned and used for our self-produced olive oil and soft drink bottles are returned to the manufacturer for filling.
98% of hot water is generated from solar energy with our own system during the year. The remaining energy is obtained from electricity generated by PV systems in the nearby desert of Marrakech, more precisely in Ouarzazate. Energy-saving lamps and motion detectors ensure low power consumption.
Did you know that Morocco also exports the electricity that is generated here with solar power?
Our water consumption is reduced by saving systems and our cleaners check towels and bed linen every day for contamination and replace them if necessary. If towels are not used or if they are perfectly clean, then we think you can use them again. Emphasis is placed on a high level of cleanliness. Do you want to have new towels? Then simply put them in the laundry basket or on the floor.
All these measures require a little effort from us, but they are worth it.
You too are welcome to contribute to sensible savings measures for the sake of the environment. Turn off the air conditioning and the lights when you leave the suites. Reconsider the duration of your feel-good shower. It's a small contribution and doesn't take much effort, but each contribution can help conserve valuable resources.

If other dangerous situations arise in the property that require immediate action, be sure to leave the hotel and go to a central place near our house. The most spacious place from our hotel is Bab Taghzout, where you will usually be dropped off by our driver upon arrival.

Our purely organic olive oil of the 2023 season, produced on our own small farm, is now available for purchase. Our trees grow in the Marrakech area and are fed with natural fertilizers and water from a deep well. The permanent control of the growth and formation of the olives occupies us all year round until the harvest in November after the first rains. This is the best time. Then, the oil produced immediately after harvesting with the best ingredients is cold-pressed and, after depositing, carefully bottled with a special spout.
High quality standards in production and the ancient traditional experience in development, lead us to this excellent olive oil.
