In just 20 years, the Route verte has become the largest cycling route in North America. In a variety of settings, it criss-crosses Quebec's regions and links Quebec with its neighbors in Ontario, New Brunswick and the United States.
In addition to creating an inter-regional cycling link and connecting Quebec with its neighbors (Ontario, New Brunswick and the United States), the Route verte can be cycled in complete comfort and safety, thanks to standardized cycle paths with good signage.
You'll find a bike path near the iron bridge, departing from the Richmond train station. There's plenty of parking if you want to get there by car first.
