  • From the TGV station in Aix en Provence, a bus to Manosque is possible and another bus can take you to Banon (center village) 1 km from the campsite.
  • From Avignon TGV station, unfortunately there are no more connections to Banon, only car rentals, taxi etc…
  • Coming from Marignane Airport, the best way is to reach Aix en Provence train station.

The parking is located at the entrance of the campsite, it can be used also for visitors. Each location and rental have a parking space also.

For additional vehicles of our campers, indoor parking is available. For safety reasons, the entrances and exits of your vehicles will be managed by barrier codes.

Anyone arriving at the campsite, visitor camper or other, must come at first to the reception (or restaurant).

Moreover for the visitors, after having presented themselves at the reception where a piece of identity will be asked them, they will have to pay the sum of 7 € to be able to spend the day within the campsite and to benefit from the infrastructures.

If the visit lasts less than 2 hours the entrance is free but people will not be able to use the equipment.

You will find the general information on the campsite in the document "general conditions" provided by email during your booking.

The entire camping team will be happy to welcome you and to entertain you during your holidays.

For this, it consists of an animation team of 2 or 3 people for adults (adults) and the youngest in the "kids club" (6-12 years). A household team for your comfort responsible for the cleanliness of the toilets, rental and camping in general and to finish a catering team composed of a pizzaïolo (pizzas over a wood fire), a cook and waiters - bartender who will have the mission to treat you and serve.

All this staff is supervised by Stéphane and Florence (see photo) the managers of the campsite that you will have the opportunity to meet every day and who will be happy to sympathize with you during your stay.

In order to live better in community, some rules are essential during your camping holidays. For this, an internal regulation is put in place and must be respected for the good of everyone.

This document named "rules of procedure" is also given to you by e-mail during your reservation and posted at the reception.

Do not forget to take a look...

Regarding the aquatic area:

  • the supervision of the children is done under the responsibility of the parents (no lifeguard).
  • The swimsuit is mandatory (no shorts).
  • the shoes are to be left at the entrance of the space.
  • Shower before bathing is mandatory
  • The water slide has several safety rules to respect (minimum size, minimum age, prohibited positions etc...) to consult on site.
  • It is forbidden to smoke and eat in the aquatic area.

Regarding children's games, please respect the maximum age.

The collective barbecue is at your disposal with some safety rules, including to throw the ashes in the appropriate pot as well as to properly extinguish the embers with the jet nearby. In case of bad weather, its use may be prohibited. Only gas or electric barbecues are allowed on your plot.

It is free around the reception, on the terrace of the restaurant, within 30 minutes every 24 hours.

Pay packages are available according to your needs.

During July and August, bread and pastries can be delivered daily. Just book them at the reception the day before 18h to be delivered from 8am the next day at the reception.

The bar is open daily from 8am to midnight. You will find a friendly atmosphere, cocktails and all other refreshments.

The restaurant is open every night of the season.

It offers a wide choice of dishes, with pizzas cooked over a wood fire and a brasserie menu that will delight you.

During themed evenings, the restaurant can offer you special menus for the occasion where it will be necessary to think of reserving.

A very charming hilltop village

Surrounded by olive groves and lavender fields, Simiane-la-Rotonde is a typical Provençal hilltop village located between the Luberon mountains and Pays de Forcalquier area. Dominated by the rotunda of the medieval castle, the very charming old village is a very pleasant place to stroll around with its narrow, flower-filled cobbled streets lined with pretty houses, art studios and craft workshops, and picturesque 16th-century covered market, which offers a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside.

At the top of the village stands Agoult-Simiane fortified castle with its rotunda (a 12th-century former keep) and a splendid Romanesque hall with decorative carvings. It also houses an exhibition about the history of the castle, and an introduction to aromatherapy.

An international festival of early music, the Riches Heures Musicales de la Rotonde, is held in the magnificent rotunda every August.

A beautiful palette of ochre hues

The magnificent scenery of the Colorado de Rustrel was formed by erosion and the former ochre quarries built there to extract ochre from the sand.

Today the site features a whole series of ochre sculptures and cliffs with extraordinary colours ranging from pale yellow to bright red. The Colorado forest is crossed by a network of footpaths taking visitors past features such as the Sahara, fairy chimneys, cliffs and white desert.

The very charming hilltop village of Dauphin features picturesque steep, cobbled streets, covered passageways and pretty stone houses. It is a pleasure to stroll through the maze of flower-filled lanes. Make a point of heading to the castle terrace at the top of the village for its breathtaking view of the Pays de Forcalquier and the Luberon.

A picturesque village overlooked by its medieval citadel

In the rolling hills of the Pays du Forcalquier area, between the Luberon and Lure mountain, lies the delightful village of Mane. A fortified "Cité de Caractère" dominated by its 12-century medieval citadel, Mane is as pretty as a picture with its picturesque, steep, cobbled lanes, mansions and beautiful stone houses. It also offers a magnificent panoramic view from around the citadel over the roofs of the village and surrounding Provence countryside.

At one end of the village nestle two more architectural gems: the 12th-century Romanesque Notre-Dame de Salagon priory and the 18th-century Château de Sauvan. The priory, a listed historic monument, houses the Haute-Provence departmental museum of ethnology, with permanent and temporary exhibitions, and possesses an ethnobotanical garden. The château, located not far from the priory, is known as the "Petit Trianon of Provence". Its grounds feature a French-style formal garden, while the superb classical building contains beautiful furnished rooms.

Its citadel offers a stunning panoramic view!

Forcalquier, located not far from Lure mountain and the Luberon, was the capital of a medieval earldom and has retained a rich heritage from this past. The historic centre, which lies at the foot of the citadel hill, features ancient streets, Place Saint-Michel square with a Gothic fountain, Notre-Dame-du-Bourguet cathedral and the Franciscan Cordeliers convent. Also not to be missed is the magnificent view over the rooftops of the town and the surrounding landscape from the citadel – where the former castle of the Counts of Forcalquier stands – and Notre-Dame-de-Provence chapel.

The peak of Lure mountain offers a fantastic 360-degree view

The summit of Lure mountain, the Signal de Lure, peaks at an altitude of 1,826 metres and marks the transition between the Alps and Provence. Popular with cyclists, this natural viewpoint atop barren slopes offers a stunning 360-degree panorama of the foothills of the Alps at Digne, the Alps themselves, the Luberon and the Durance plain.

The Luberon region is protected by a Regional Nature Park, which extends over 165,000 hectares and covers two départements: the Vaucluse and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Also designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, Luberon possesses a considerable variety of animal and plant species, some of them very rare.

Luberon mountain peaks at the Mourre Nègre, at an altitude of 1,125 metres. The mountain consists of two sections, the large Luberon massif and the small Luberon massif, separated by Combe de Lourmarin valley. A great destination for nature and sports fans.

Its typically Provençal old town is a lovely place to wander around

Manosque, situated in the Durance valley at the entrance to the Luberon, possesses a typically Provençal old town. Once through the imposing Saunerie gateway, you discover charming, pretty squares with fountains and café terraces, and picturesque narrow streets lined with old houses. Places of interest include the very lively Rue Grande and listed buildings like the Romanesque church of Notre-Dame-de-Romigier, the Romanesque-Gothic church of Saint-Sauveur, the town hall with its magnificent façade and the 14th-century Soubeyran gateway.

Worth a visit: the Centre Jean Giono, housed in a mansion, for its exhibition devoted to the Manosque-born writer and his works.

As for events, Manosque hosts the annual new oil celebration in late January and the Festival des Correspondances literary event in September. And for fans of local produce, a Provençal market is held every Saturday morning in Place du Terreau square. A feast for the eyes, nose and palate!

A charming hilltop village

Offering a panoramic view over the Durance valley, the charming hilltop village of Lurs is a lovely place to wander around with its flower-decked streets lined with tastefully-restored stone houses, a Romanesque church, clock tower, delightful little open-air theatre and château, once the home of the bishops of Sisteron. Make a point of walking down the Promenade des Évèques, a beautiful footpath lined with 15 shrines that leads to Notre-Dame de Vie chapel. From the chapel, the view over the Durance valley, Valensole plateau, Lure mountain and the foothills of the Alps at Digne is really superb!

The Rencontres Internationales de Lure, a graphic arts and calligraphy event, is held there every last week of August.

An ochre-coloured village full of charm

Listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France, Roussillon is also the ochre village par excellence. All its well-kept houses are of the ochre colour. The central square is magnificent, decorated with flowers and lined with restaurants. This village also offers a beautiful view of the peaks in the fairies' valley (Val des Fées) and the giant's causeway (Chaussée des Géants). The palette of colours is stunning!

Overlooking the Durance valley from its high wooded plateau, Notre-Dame de Ganagobie Benedictine monastery, which was founded in the 10th century by Bishop Jean II of Sisteron, is famous for its medieval mosaics. Located in the central apse of the church, they are a jewel of Romanesque art. Made in the 12th century, these remarkable polychrome mosaics of Eastern influence feature geometric designs and fantastical animals. Another marvel to discover is the magnificent church portal with its carved tympanum representing Christ in Majesty.

A spa and health resort situated in Verdon Regional Nature Park

Described by the writer Jean Giono as "Verdon's romantic oasis", the pleasant spa and health resort of Gréoux-les-Bains, situated in Verdon Regional Nature Park (Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon), is famous for the beneficial, healing properties of its water. The Thermes Troglodytes thermal baths, located next to a large shady park, offers medical treatments, as well as fitness and relaxation programmes.

But Gréoux-les-Bains is also a picturesque old village dominated by the imposing Château des Templars where regular art exhibitions and, in summer, shows are put on.

Perched on its promontory, Gordes is postcard-pretty. This famous Provençal village is listed one of the most beautiful village in France. Its castle, narrow paved streets and pretty shaded square make it a lovely place to wander around.

An ancient village of drystone huts

Omnipresent in the Luberon are drystone huts known as bories. The Village des Bories not far from Gordes is an exceptional ancient village of drystone buildings including sheepfolds, houses and bread ovens. It is also a rural settlement museum with displays of traditional objects and tools.

Dedicated footpaths take visitors on a tour of the village and its architecture.

With a hilltop citadel and picturesque old town

Known as the "Pearl of Upper Provence", the town of Sisteron is located on the Napoleon Road (Route Napoléon) on the banks of the Durance river opposite Baume rock and is dominated by its imposing hilltop citadel. The historic centre of this Provençal medieval fortified town is very picturesque and contains much built heritage of interest to walkers, including the Romanesque Notre-Dame-des-Pommiers cathedral, fortification towers, narrow streets lined with old houses and little squares decorated with charming fountains. The interesting Musée Terre et Temps (Earth and Time Museum), housed in the former Visitandines chapel near the cathedral, explores the history of time telling and measuring the passing of time in nature through a magnificent collection of rare and unusual objects. This museum is also the departure point for the Route du Temps, a fantastic waymarked time trail across the Haute-Provence geological reserve.

Towering above the Durance valley on top of a rocky spur is the citadel of Sisteron. Built in the 11th century and remodelled in the 13th, 16th and 19th centuries, it enjoys a strategic location between the Alps and the Mediterranean. This listed historic monument and former stronghold of the Counts of Provence today houses a museum devoted to Napoleon and an exhibition of horse-drawn carriages. Sisteron citadel also offers a superb view of Baume rock, the town rooftops, the river banks and surrounding mountains.

From mid-July to mid-August, the Nuits de la Citadelle festival offers a programme of culture, music, theatre and dance against the imposing backdrop of the fortress ramparts. Also not to be missed is Sisteron's Fête de l'Agneau (lamb festival), held every Ascension weekend.

This giant of Provence...

This giant Provence mountain, reaching 1,912 metres at its highest point, is easily recognisable by its limestone-covered peak. Listed as an UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, this white mountain is characterised by the great diversity of both its climate and its vegetation, which ranges from Mediterranean plants and beech forests at its foot to arctic plants at its peak.

The arrival at the top is really magic! First, for its lunar aspect, but also for the exceptional panoramic view of the fantastic surrounding sites, such as Luberon, the Nesque gorges, the Sainte-Victoire mountain and even on the Mediterranean coast in clear weather.

Mount Ventoux is also very popular with sporty types. Known for being particularly challenging, its ascent is a favourite with cyclists. In winter, when the slopes are covered in snow, skiing is possible in resorts such as Mont Serein and Chalet-Reynard.

Lavender country

Valensole plateau is situated at an altitude of 500 metres in the south of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, near Digne-les-Bains and the Verdon gorges, and covers an area of 800 km². Fields of lavender, the famous Provençal scented plant, abound here, alongside wheat fields and a host of charming villages such as Saint-Martin-de-Brômes, Riez and Esparron-de-Verdon.

The best time for lovers of typical Provençal landscapes to visit is July, when Valensole plateau is awash with beautiful blue lavender in bloom. It's a sight – and scent – to behold!

Foodies should head to the village of Valensole, famous for its subtle- and delicate-tasting lavender honey, to treat their taste buds!

Several lavender-related festivities are organised in the area: the Fête de la Lavande in Valensole in July, and the Corso de la Lavande and Foire de la Lavande in Digne-les-Bains in August.

Provençal village in Verdon Regional Nature Park

Located in Verdon Regional Nature Park (Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon), on Valensole plateau, the Provençal village of Saint-Martin-de-Brômes forms a beautiful picture with its old houses nestled around the foot of the clock tower – a 14th-century keep now housing a Gallo-Romanesque museum. Next to the tower stands the Romanesque Saint-Martin church dating from the 12th century. Below, walkers will find narrow streets and little squares full of charm.

Located in the heart of Provence, in Verdon Regional Nature Park (Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon), the Château d'Allemagne-en-Provence is both medieval and Renaissance in style, with an imposing 12th-century crenellated tower and elegant façades with mullioned windows. Inside, visitors will discover a beautiful spiral staircase connecting the tower to the Renaissance section, and a splendid monumental fireplace with decorative plasterwork.

Set off to discover this magnificent territory in South-East France!

Between Drôme and Hautes-Alpes, the Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature Park is a subtle blend of Alpine and Provençal influences. Created in 2014, this is an exceptional place where unspoilt nature dominates a territory of nearly 1,800 km².

The wild and unique expanses of the Baronnies Provençales fascinate visitors. Here, limestone mountains nonchalantly rub shoulders with woodlands. Fields of lavender, olive groves, orchards, oak and pine forests: such are the landscapes you will be able to admire on your journey. Between the lavender, thyme and rosemary, expect to breathe in sweet scents from all around...

The Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature Park also has a remarkable built heritage, including picturesque hillside villages like Montbrun-les-Bains, Venterol and Vinsobres. The old towns of Nyons and Buis-les-Baronnies, with their many remnants of the past, also reflect this great historical heritage. As do the dry stone terraces, built following an age-old method.

Boasting remarkable biodiversity, the park is home to over 2,000 plant species and around 200 protected animal species. It also contains around 150 natural habitat sites, including those of large birds of prey like vultures.

The Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature Park also has a diverse terroir with six Appellations of Controlled Origin and seven Protected Geographical Indications. These include for example Nyons olive oil, Provence honey, picodon, banon, Haute-Provence einkorn wheat and Coteaux des Baronnies wine. Plenty to delight the taste buds of food-lovers and gourmets!

Keen explorers are sure to enjoy the park's many footpaths, bridle paths and mountain bike trails. Likewise, thrill-seekers haven't been forgotten, with many rock climbing, via ferrata, canyoning and paragliding opportunities.

This site is a designated nature reserve

A designated nature reserve, the Méouge gorges near Châteauneuf-de-Chabre are a haven of coolness in the summer for nature-loving walkers and swimming fans. In spring or after heavy rainfall, the water of the Méouge also attracts kayakists.

As well as this protected area's many natural treasures, you can admire a three-arched medieval bridge and the ruins of a mill on a walk along the river.

A pretty village whose surrounding cliff faces are great for climbing

Dominated by high cliffs, the village of Orpierre is a popular destination with climbers – and walkers, thanks to its waymarked footpaths and above all the very charming old village itself with its network of little squares, narrow streets lined with pretty houses and covered passageways.

In the hills above the village, serious rock-climbers can climb to their heart's content on Quiquillon, Belleric and Adrech cliff faces. Meanwhile, Quatre Heures is ideal rock face for beginner climbers.

The departures concerning the rental are between 8 : 00 and 10 : 00 and concerning the sites, they must be released before 12 : 00.

For a departure between 7 : 00 and 8 : 00, the inventory of the rental will be done by us without the presence of the customer and the deposit will be destroyed or returned by mail according to the will of the latter.

For a departure before 7 : 00, the vehicle must be put on the parking at the entrance of the campsite the day before 23 : 00.

Cleaning is done by you before your exit. Also remember to defrost the fridge as well as consolidate your used sheets (if any) on the terrace of the rental.

An inventory will be made for each rental before your departure.

You have the possibility to opt for a cleaning fee if you wish :

  • 60 € (80 € for the homes flower).

For pitches, if there has been a rental fridge, it will be checked also before your departure.

Any unsatisfactory condition may result in the collection of the deposit.
