REGULATIONS WATERDORP BURDAARD
Everyone who stays or is a guest at Waterdorp Burdaard is expected to know and comply with these Park Rules. Proper adherence to these rules ensures the safety of our guests. In the event of a violation of these rules, Waterdorp Burdaard has the authority to take appropriate measures if necessary. Guests of Waterdorp Burdaard must follow the instructions of the staff unconditionally. In all cases not provided for in the aforementioned provisions, the management of Waterdorp Burdaard shall decide
The travel information you have received from us indicates from what time your home is available. The houses must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure. Early check-out will void all rights to the property. The houses must be left neat and tidy: unload the dishwasher, empty the refrigerator, close windows and doors, turn off the lights and put the furniture back in its place. No rubbish may be left in and around the house. Waste must be deposited in the appropriate containers. If the property is not left according to the above rules, we are forced to charge extra costs.
The houses each have a personal interior. It is not allowed to take furniture that belongs in the holiday home outside. (Garden) furniture may not be moved to other dwellings. You are obliged to keep the rented property and the associated plot in a neat and orderly condition. Waste must be deposited in the appropriate containers at all times.
The accommodation is made available to the tenant in good condition. If a tenant notices visible damage to the property or inventory, he must immediately report this to the manager. If the tenant does not report damage to the property and/or the inventory, the park assumes that the property has been delivered in good condition. Damages that have not been reported to the manager and are found by the manager after the rental period has expired, are deemed to have been caused by the tenant. The tenant will leave the rented property in neat condition upon departure. All damage caused by the holiday-maker or fellow holiday-maker to the accommodation or inventory must be reported by the holiday-maker to the manager before departure and must be paid immediately.
- If the accommodation is not left clean or damaged, the park is entitled to recover its damages from the main booker.
- The accommodation may only be used by the tenant for recreational purposes, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Visitors are welcome, but must report to the manager upon arrival. They are expected to leave the building before 22:00 in order to keep quiet during the night. If your visitor would like to stay overnight, this must always be reported to the manager and adjusted rates apply. Waterdorp Burdaard reserves the right to refuse guests. Visitors must abide by the rules set out in these Park Rules. You need to make sure that your guests are aware of the rules that apply to them.
Guests of the park must generally behave correctly and refrain from doing anything that could reasonably cause offence or nuisance to the park or other guests. Between 22:00 and 07:00 the night's rest must be respected. We expect our guests to strictly observe this night's rest. This means, among other things, no loud conversations, music, or any other noise. Even during the day, it is not permitted to use music carriers, musical instruments and other objects that (may) cause noise nuisance in such a way that nuisance is caused. By receiving a complaint from a fellow guest, the nuisance is basically established. Public drunkenness and the use of drugs or laughing gas (in and around the home) is prohibited. In addition, it is not allowed to set off fireworks in the park. A fine applies for smoking in the home or using drugs against the rules.
Drones are not allowed to be flown everywhere. For example, it is not allowed to fly over crowds of people, connected buildings, areas around airports and other no-fly zones. If the rules are not followed, a warning or a fine can be issued. It is also possible that the drone will be confiscated. The amount of the fine or penalty depends on the type of violation. The Justice Department will look at whether the drone has been used professionally or as a hobby and whether people have been endangered. Drones may only be flown at Waterdorp Burdaard with written permission from the park management.
At Waterdorp Burdaard, the speed limit is 5 km/h for safety and noise nuisance. You can park your car at your house, if you come with several cars, then park them in the parking spaces at the house. If these parking rules are violated, Waterdorp Burdaard reserves the right to remove the vehicle (or have it removed). The costs of this will be borne by the guest in question. It is not allowed to charge electric cars at the homes.
Open fires are strictly forbidden in the park. Flammable substances, fire or the use of fire pits in, on or near the home are also prohibited. The use of a barbecue is allowed on the terrace of the houses, at a safe distance from the house as well as the furniture and the plants. All guests must strictly comply with the regulations and rules contained in the General Terms and Conditions and the Park Regulations and follow the instructions of the staff of Waterdorp Burdaard in any form and in any context. Violation of these terms and conditions and rules as well as failure to follow instructions of the staff may result in removal from the park and access to the park will be denied, without the guest being entitled to a full or partial refund of the (rent) sums paid or still to be paid, without prejudice to the right of Waterdorp Burdaard to claim compensation for the damage caused by the violation. In general, a warning will be given first. In urgent cases, at the discretion of Waterdorp Burdaard, this can be waived and immediate removal will be carried out and the guest will be denied access to the park. Waterdorp Burdaard reserves the right to charge an (extra) deposit of up to € 250.00 per person in the event of a (first) warning. All damage to the house or caused by nuisance may be deducted from the deposit. If you refuse to pay this deposit, your right to stay will expire without refund of your money already paid.
In cases that are not regulated in the General Terms and Conditions or these Park Rules, the park manager will decide.
The staff works in accordance with the applicable regulations. In addition, we will regularly disinfect our hands after changing activities and guest contact.

At BungalowNet Group, we love nothing more than to offer you a carefree holiday. But we also believe it is our responsibility to contribute to the world and create a better and healthier living environment. That's why we support Eden Reforestation Projects: an organization that restores forests and at the same time lifts people out of poverty. In this way, your holiday contributes to a sustainable future.
In many places on earth, the destruction of healthy forests causes major problems. Trees provide a habitat for animals, purify water, provide protection against flooding and erosion, and provide nutrients needed for agriculture. Many farmers in such areas see their yields decline and move to overcrowded cities in search of work, or end up in refugee camps. Often, they even have no choice but to survive slavery.
Eden Reforestation Projects reduces extreme poverty and restores healthy forests. It does this by employing local villagers to grow, plant and grow millions of native trees every year. This approach proved so successful that since its start in Ethiopia in 2004, Eden has been active in various countries around the world where deforestation and poverty go hand in hand. Thousands of local workers have already been put to work, planting trees. This earns them a wage that allows them to earn a living in a dignified way. Eden has already planted over 200 million trees, and that's just the beginning! The goal is to plant at least 100 million trees each year and help tens of thousands of villagers escape extreme poverty.
BungalowNet Group is ambitious, also in our sustainability mission. With our donations, we want to have 1 million trees planted in Indonesia within three years. With every night booked through Bungalow. Eden Reforestation Projects has just planted a tree. With your booking, you are directly contributing to a better, sustainable future for people and nature. Now that's going on holiday with a good feeling!

North Fryslân is a beautiful and quiet area where mass tourism has not (yet) come to grips with. This region can be admired perfectly from the water. This is possible with a sloop from us! The starting point is at our company in Burdaard, directly on the Dokkumer Ee. The Dokkumer Ee is part of the Elfstedentocht route, you could not wish for a better start. Our boats can be rented per day. Our sloops are suitable for six people. The boats are very stable in the water making them easy to drive. A boating license is not necessary!
