CAUSES OF DAMAGE
Bottom of pots and pans
The undersides of pots and rough pans scratch the vitroceramic.
Avoid empty cooking in pots. Damage may occur.
Stove and hot pans
Never put hot pans or pans on the control panel, display area or frame. Damage may occur.
Salt, sugar and sand
Salt, sugar and sand cause scratches on the ceramic hob. Do not use the cooktop as a storage or work surface.
Hard and sharp objects
If hard or sharp objects fall on the cooktop, they may cause damage.
Sugar and foods with high sugar content damage the cooktop. Immediately remove spilled food with a glass scraper.
Shimmer metallic effects
Discolourations are due to the friction of the bottoms of containers and to inappropriate cleaners.
Sheets and plastics
Aluminum foils or plastic containers melt on hot fireplaces. Cooking cover sheets are not suitable for the cooktop.
TIPS TO SAVE ENERGY
Put the lid: Cover pots and pans always with a suitable lid. Cooking without a lid requires 4 times more energy.
Bake with a little water: This saves energy. The vitamins and minerals of the vegetables will be preserved.
Reduce the setting: Set in time at a lower heating position.
Use residual heat: If the cooking times are long enough, turn off the heat 5 to 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
In general, avoid cooking or drying the stains. Clean up spilled liquids as quickly as possible, being careful not to burn yourself.
Regular maintenance helps to ensure the performance of the plates and to ensure their lifetime. Here are some tips depending on the cooking method.
When the table is still warm, quickly wipe a damp sponge and wipe with paper towels. For the toughest stains, overflows of grease or food, use the appropriate product and remove the traces with a squeegee.
Maintain the plates regularly, rinsing well, to prevent detergents and stains from becoming encrusted during the next cooking.
Ban the use of abrasive or corrosive products and metal sponge. The induction heating only the containers, their maintenance comes down to a blow of sponge with each use.
Heavy soiling is best removed with a glass scraper available at the reception on request.
For cleaning the frame of the hob. Use only lukewarm water with dishwashing detergent.
Do not use aggressive or scouring products. The glass scraper is not suitable. The frame of the cooktop may be damaged.
Use the cooktop only to prepare food.
Burning oil and fat

If the oil ignites, never extinguish it with water. Cover immediately with a lid or plate. Turn off the fireplace.
Do not touch hot fireplaces. Risk of burns! Keep children away.
