To capitalise on the success of the 2024 World Indoor Championships in Glasgow by establishing a legacy event.

Aim

To bring high level athletics to the city on an annual basis, providing a platform for Scottish athletes to compete against international opposition.

We would like to welcome you all to the 2nd edition of the EAP Glasgow meeting.

We have created the EAP Glasgow event to capitalise on the success of the 2024 World Indoor Championships in Glasgow.

Glasgow has had a strong history of international athletics and we hope this legacy event will bring high level athletics to the city on an annual basis.

There will be transfers from both Edinburgh Airport (1 hour journey) and Glasgow Airport (30 minute journey) to the Leonardo Royal Hotel.

You will be met by a member of Scottish Athletics staff at the airport arrivals and brought to the waiting vehicle.

There is 24 hour free parking at the Emirates Arena.

In case of emergency please follow instructions and directions from stewards, staff and/or other officials.

The Arena operates a strict no smoking policy. It is illegal to smoke anywhere at the Arena and anyone caught smoking will be removed from the Arena without refund. Use of e-cigarettes is not permitted in the Arena.

We reserve the right to prohibit certain items within the Arena from time to time. Prohibited items include (without limitations) :

  • Food and beverage or containers for storing food or beverage
  • Any items which are or may be illegal including, offensive weapons, fireworks/flares/smoke cannisters, drugs or other illegal substances
  • Professional photography equipment
  • Any bag exceeding 16” x 12” x 12” (40cm x 30cm x 30cm)
  • Large umbrellas
  • Prams
  • Selfie sticks
  • Whistles, drums and other instruments
  • Any objects or clothing bearing political statements or commercial identification intended for ‘ambush marketing'
  • Items which an athlete or event organiser requests that we prohibit

Transfers from the Leonardo Royal Hotel back to Edinburgh and Glasgow airports will aim to drop athletes off at the airports 1.5-2 hours before their scheduled flight times.
